7:15 a.m.

It’s early but I’m heading to band practice.We’re starting to sound really good–and just in time.The Winter Concert is just around the corner.I love learning to play the flute and am taking private music lessons once a week along with my regular music class.Music is truly my passion!

現(xiàn)在還早但是我要去參加樂隊的練習了。我們的演奏現(xiàn)在聽起來還不錯，這非常好，冬季音樂會就要開始了。我喜歡學習吹長笛，每周除了常規(guī)的音樂課外我還會上一次私教音樂課。音樂就是我的激情！

8:00 a.m.

Science class should be fun today.We’re learning how to use the electronic microscopes.Our science teacher is amazing.She makes science fun and relates it to our day-to-day lives.

Every Tuesday and Friday we have Advisor in the morning.It’s a good time to check in.We stay with the same advisor group from Grade 9 to 12,so you really feel known.No matter what’s going on,I find there’s always someone to support me.

Morning recess and snack–Strawberry smoothie sounds pretty yummy(and healthy)!I like having a break in the morning.It gives me a chance to catch up with friends.

10:10 a.m.

I love drama class!Who knew I’d feel so brave on stage.Everyone is so supportive.We all have a good laugh when one of us mixes up our lines during rehearsal.But we always seem to get it right on opening night!

Chicken stir-fry for lunch with homemade oatmeal cookies for dessert.It’s a happy day!

12:00 noon

I’m going outside to be a Recess Helper now.It’s really fun organizing games for the Lower School girls.They’re so sweet!

12:15 p.m.

We’re doing basketball drills in gym class today.I better work hard if I want to make the Junior Team!It doesn’t matter if you haven’t played a sport before.If you’re prepared to work hard and learn new skills,there’s always room for you on a team.

我們今天在體育課上做籃球訓練。如果我想成為籃球隊的一員，那我最好要努力訓練了。如果你以前沒有參加過體育活動，那也沒有關系。只要你準備好學習新的技能并努力訓練，一定可以融入在團隊里。

English class has never been so much fun.We’re writing our own poems and spoken word.Next week we’re holding a Coffee House and everyone will be presenting their original works.

3:30 p.m.

Robotics club is after school today.I can’t believe how much I’ve learned designing our robot to go underwater.The senior girls are so encouraging–they really make me feel a part of the team!

今天放學后參加機器人俱樂部。我真不敢相信我在設計機器人下水的過程中學到了這么多。高年級的學姐們是如此的鼓舞人心，她們讓我覺得自己就是團隊的一員！

5:30 p.m.

It’s roast beef and Yorkshire pudding for dinner tonight.Delicious!

今晚的晚餐是烤牛肉和約克夏布丁。美味！

6:30 p.m.

The Grade 8 and 9 boarders having a special Study Hall together this evening.We’re going to learn about time management and organizational skills to help us prepare for our exams.I thought I’d feel overwhelmed by everything being so new.But there’s so much support in place,I already feel like a pro!

今晚，8,9年級的寄宿生會在一起上一堂特別的自習課。我們將學習時間管理和組織技能，以幫助我們準備考試。這一切對我來說都非常新鮮，我以為我會不知所措，但有這么多的支持，我已經感覺自己像一個專業(yè)人士了。
