第二步、了解申請條件

UBC錄取的條件(Admission requirements)針對不同申請人，有所不同，我們主要介紹針對安省(Ontario)的，其他省份，甚至加國境外的，包括英語水平要求等，大家可在官網(wǎng)上查詢：

對安省高中畢業(yè)生入學要求，UBC大致分為：

第一、基本條件(General admission requirements)

高中畢業(yè)(Graduation from high school)

英語水平，11、12年級成績在70分以上(Minimum of 70%in Grade 11 or Grade 12 English(or their equivalents)

12年級六門專業(yè)課程At least six academic/non-academic Grade 12 courses(recommended,but not required)

擇優(yōu)錄取是是加拿大所有大學招生最核心的標準。

這個“優(yōu)”，可以量化為成績分數(shù)，也可以體現(xiàn)綜合素材。

UBC與麥吉爾大學、多倫多大學并稱為加拿大三強大學之一。

后兩者會列出往年錄取分數(shù)范圍(Grade Range)供人參考，Top 6，即高中12年級(包括指定的)六門課程最高平均分，作為申請該專業(yè)的基本條件。但在UBC，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)，除了11、12年級英語成績外，對各專業(yè)的要求，似乎你是找不到，但是，對安省留學生特別要留意以下幾點：

1,UBC重視申請人一貫表現(xiàn)所以，大學全面審視申請人高中高年級即11、12年級的整體表現(xiàn)。高中最后兩年，無論是英語還是相關課程都很重要。

家長們提醒孩子，提前規(guī)劃，11年級選好課，12年級上好課，分數(shù)還是硬道理。

2,大學重現(xiàn)11、12年級中專業(yè)指定課程表現(xiàn)，尤其是12年級最后分數(shù)。根據(jù)我們的經(jīng)驗，Top6有85％以上，某些專業(yè)會被錄取，即便平均分95％，在某些熱門專業(yè)仍有挑戰(zhàn)。

家長們要做功課，充分利用好UBC兩校區(qū)兩學位選專業(yè)的優(yōu)勢。這一點與利用好多大三校區(qū)申請時的做法相似。

3,加拿大公立大學都是省辦大學，招生傾向地方(有關數(shù)據(jù)翻看公眾號文章：加拿大大學的地區(qū)分布和特點，但仍鼓勵有志者大膽申請，因為，安省教育擁有優(yōu)勢，每年我們見證不少！

第三、學位決定申請的課程等相關要求

UBC允許申請人在兩個校區(qū)(campuses)、不同學院(faculties)，選擇二個學位(two degrees)，然后，在二個學位后，進行專業(yè)選擇(Program Selection)。當中，你有第一專業(yè)申請志愿(First Program Choice)和第二專業(yè)申請志愿(Second Program Choice)，兩種選擇。UBC會從中錄取你入讀。

大部分的專業(yè)課程都是從大二開始的，大一都是打基礎的必修課為主。所以，在申請時，你要知道自己入讀的是什么學位，同一學位下的專業(yè)，申請要求大致相同。

加拿大UBC溫哥華校區(qū)，有12個，即：文學院、理學院、應用科學學院、生物醫(yī)學工程學院、土地和食物系統(tǒng)學院、教育學院、林業(yè)學院、藥理藥學學院、醫(yī)學院、口腔醫(yī)學學院、法學院。每個學院下設不同學系和研究中心，其中以醫(yī)學院(19個系3所學校(schools)和24個研究機構、文學院(15學系)和理學院(9學系)，最大規(guī)模。約有230多個專業(yè)類別，可提供的專業(yè)和課程非常廣泛，許多學科如英語文學、數(shù)學、生物學、林業(yè)學、環(huán)境科學，經(jīng)濟學、商學、醫(yī)學，音樂，等等，在加拿大甚至世界上均屬一流。
